E6 Processing - Feb/Mar 2026

Since my son was born 22 June 2024, I've moved my film processing to my studio at school.
I also run the film photo club so do processing for students and even another teacher sometimes.
At school we have chemistry for black & white, colour reversal and colour negative processing.
I mixed up the E6 Arista kit this February and have used it into early March with great results - dare I say better than what I was getting at home.

Anyway, I usually save up a bunch of E6 rolls and sheets before mixing a kit, that way I can ensure the chemistry is fairly fresh to run through a batch of film and then it is done.  I have a couple of rolls to do for students and then we are almost at the point where it is time to put it in for recycling.

Soon I'll be mixing up the C41 kit as we will have some colour negative films to process.

Anyway, really pleased with the results from last October's visit to van Dusen botanical garden in Vancouver, British Columbia - about an hour from here.  I like to use my Mamiya 645 Pro TL for E6 film as it gives me more exposures per roll than the C330.
