Blue Bridge-Bye-Bye
The iconic Johnson Street (blue) bridge constructed in c. 1924 has been retired 31st Mar. 2018 after being replaced by a newer, expensive replacement. Judging from the comments I have seen elsewhere, some reminisce while others say good riddance.
Personally, I have found it to be a good photographic subject over the years, especially at night with artificial illumination.
Anyway, I am sharing a spring photo which on one hand welcomes spring with the blooming Sakura and the closing event of the Blue Bridge on the other.
